For good old fashioned service with a smile and nothing is too much trouble come to Tameside Floorcoverings. If you are housebound or an invalid give us a call and we'll pick you up, show you around and take you back again! If you have one of our carpets or vinyls installed in your home we will come back to re-stretch or repair any accidental damage (where possible) FREE OF CHARGE! At a charge we can uplift and/or remove your existing carpets/floorcoverings as all commercial waste has to be paid for. When a carpet is ready to be fitted we request that all small items are removed from the room including TV's, chairs, tables. All wires need to be taped into position on the inside of the gripper Doors should be cut by customer. Please ask a member of staff for advice.

Most importantly we recommend you use the best possible underlay beneath your carpet. 1) It helps the carpet resist loading making the carpet more resilient, more springy underfoot. 2) It helps insulate the floor reducing cold ingress and heat retention 3) It helps reduce the impact of any subfloor imperfections on the look and wear characteristics of the carpet. 4) It will help prolong the life expectancy of a carpet.
